You don't need to own a robotic printing cell to benefit from one. Rapid Fusion's manufacturing service gives you access to our full platform range, our materials expertise, and our in-house tooling capability, without buying, housing, or operating the equipment yourself.
Send us a design or let us help you develop one. We'll take it from there.

Why Manufacture with Us

No Capital Outlay

Access large-format additive manufacturing without the cost of a machine, the floor space to house it, or the specialist operators to run it. Pay for parts, not equipment.

Volume That Flexes with You

Scale from a single prototype to a production run without re-negotiating your infrastructure. When demand drops, so does your commitment; there's no idle machine sitting on your balance sheet.

The Right Platform for Every Part

Every job runs on whichever of our systems suits it: Apollo for large-format development work, Zeus where hybrid print-and-mill finishing matters, Medusa for enclosed, automated production runs. You get the right process for the part, every time, without having to own all three.

Materials & Process Expertise Included

From engineering-grade polymers to carbon-fibre-reinforced composites, material selection is part of the service, not a separate decision you have to get right alone. So is the process behind it: bead placement, thermal management, and finishing, refined across every project we run.

What's Included

Design Optimisation

Component and tooling design shaped for additive manufacturing from the outset, not bolted on afterwards.

Rapid Prototyping

First articles in days, not weeks, so you can test and iterate before committing to a production process.

Tooling & Moulds

Production-ready jigs, fixtures and composite moulds, printed and CNC-finished in-house: typically 4 days against 4 weeks for conventional tooling, at roughly 60% lower cost.

Materials Library

A full range of high-performance filaments and pellets, matched to your part's thermal, mechanical and chemical requirements.

How It Works

1
Step 1

Discover

Tell us what the part needs to do; we start with the problem, not a file.

2
Step 2

Design

We co-develop the part for additive manufacture or optimise a design you already have.

3
Step 3

Prototype

First articles printed and iterated, so the design is right before it's committed to production.

4
Step 4

Produce

Your part, made at the volume you need, on the platform that suits it.

5
Step 5

Repeat

Need more, or need it different? We're still here.

Proven at Speed

A large composite mould, needed in three weeks for a touring production, was designed, printed in four sections, bonded and delivered on schedule, the same split-and-bond approach we use for tooling at any scale. Our standard tooling process now delivers in around 4 days against roughly 4 weeks for conventionally machined tooling, at close to 60% lower cost, with production-ready ±0.1mm tolerance and Ra 6.3μm surface finish straight off the platform.
